My name is Patrick Snellings and I am a Fisheries Biologist with Georgia DNR Wildlife Resources Division in Gainesville, Georgia.

I graduated with my Master's Degree in Fisheries Science from Auburn University in May 2015 and I received my Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science from Virginia Tech in 2012. While attending Auburn University I was president of the Auburn Bass Fishing Team and two time recipient of the  Robert M. Jenkins Memorial Research Scholarship SDAFS . At Virginia Tech I was Vice President of the Virginia Tech Bass Fishing Team, founder of Trout Unlimited at Virginia Tech, and Vice President of Xi Sigma Pi the national forestry honor society.  

I secured three FLW College Fishing top ten finishes and numerous other top ten finishes in intercollegiate and intracollegiate tournaments while at Virginia Tech.  This includes a win at Tanner’s Creek and a 5th place finish in the FLW Northern Conference Championship which lead to a 2013 FLW College Fishing National Championship berth.
