Thanks for visiting my website!

My name is Patrick Snellings and as of January 2013 I began attending Auburn University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Fisheries Science.  I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in December 2012. While attending Virginia Tech I was Vice President of the Virginia Tech Bass Fishing Team, founder of Trout Unlimited at Virginia Tech, and Vice President of Xi Sigma Pi the national forestry honor society.

I secured three FLW College Fishing top ten finishes and numerous other top ten finishes in intercollegiate and intracollegiate tournaments while at Virginia Tech.  This includes a win at Tanner’s Creek and a 5th place finish in the FLW Northern Conference Championship which lead to a 2013 FLW College Fishing National Championship berth.

I began writing fishing articles for various outlets in 2011 and have been published in BassWest USA magazine, AdvancedAngler.com, and OutdoorHub.com.  Since July 2012 I have also been a regular contributor for BassEast.com and have began writing for Bass Quest Magazine a new publication hitting shelves Spring 2013.  In the coming year I plan to continue fishing collegiately  for Auburn University and compete in the Bama BFL series.
